Specialities
My main interest has always been landscape and nature photography. My first references are the great American landscapers like Ansel Adams, and with it the great "open" landscapes. All my photographs are in non-urban areas and NO people.
As I went working in forests, mountains, natural parks, in an unconscious way, my vision was "closing" and focusing more on small corners and elements of nature (leaves, trunks, ponds, rocks, etc.) so that my photos are increasingly abstract and less descriptive.
I am interested in the spectator having to stop and ask himself what the object of the photo is, or better yet, what you see, what it suggests.
In recent years and having a much more urban life, I have been also interested in Architecture and the urban environment. Even if the object changes, my point of viewand my intention do not change either. I look for unusual frames and also NO people.
